Launch of La Ville invisible / Site Unseen

This is a bilingual posting to promote the launch of a bilingual book on Sudburé, in honour of its 125th anniversary. But we are not talking about the typical Sudburé here. No. The different Sudburé, you know, the one we sometimes pretend to not like because we find it ugly. But it is not ugly. Really!

Wat? You don’t believe me? You want to argue with me? Let's go!

If you have a little bit of imagination, you will see that Sudburé is prettier than most.

You know the saying “Beauty is ugliness. Ugliness is beauty”?

The last paragraph, down there, is written in English. It explains where and when the launch will take place.

Of course, there will be food! No bilingual person who respects herself or himself will invite people to a place where there is no food! You crazy person with crazy questions.

The organization people are still organizing, so, be patient. More information will be communicated soon.

It is confirmed! We will launch the book Site Unseen / La Ville invisible on Sunday, November 9, 2008, at the French bookstore Grand Ciel Bleu, on Durham Street, in downtown Sudbury. Come brunch and meet your bilingual city, in photograpy and literature. Usual Sudburian landmarks are not invited. More details to come.
